Giorgio Fresh Mushrooms are grown under exacting conditions, hand harvested, and quickly packed and shipped to customers for that Fresh-From-The-Farm taste. Our team of Giorgio growers are the best in the industry, with many years of experience. Our mushroom houses are checked every three hours during the growing and harvesting process to maintain optimal quality and productivity. Giorgio’s fresh mushrooms are all grown using a process called IPM or Integrated Pest Management. Utilizing IPM allows Giorgio to use fewer pesticides in our operation, about 90% less than non-IPM operations. Giorgio also grows organic mushrooms so that we can offer a complete range of products to fulfill customers’ needs. All the mushrooms that Giorgio grows are entirely non-GMO (non-Genetically Modified Organisms). We have no plans to change.
